Regional Career Fair (CBİKO)

Launched in 2019 under the theme "Talent Everywhere," the Regional Career Fairs are organized in coordination with the Presidential Human Resources Office, in collaboration with universities, public and private sector institutions, and professional chambers. The primary objective is to instill a sense of talent in all youth, regardless of their university affiliation.

Objectives:

• Ensuring equal employment opportunities for university students across all regions of the country.

• Activating university career centers and strengthening relationships with employers.

• Enhancing the visibility and employer brand value of public institutions among qualified students and graduates.

• Increasing awareness and capacity regarding human resources and talent acquisition processes in SMEs, which constitute a significant portion of employment in the country.

BANÜ Career Days

Career Days are organized annually during the academic year within the framework of sector collaboration. Through seminars, trainings, and workshops, students enrich their resumes and gain the ability to effectively communicate with human resources departments of companies. These events aim to enhance students' competencies, contribute to post-graduation employment opportunities, and facilitate their integration into professional life as equipped individuals.

BANÜ Career Festival

In collaboration with the School-Sector Partnership, the "Career Festival" is organized at Vocational Schools. The event aims to familiarize students with sectors related to their fields, establish a systematic alignment between academic programs and professional life, and meet the workforce needs of the industry through the participation of sector representatives.

Balıkesir Employment Fair

The Balıkesir Employment Fair is organized in cooperation with the Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of National Education, Balıkesir University, Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, Balıkesir Chamber of Industry, and Balıkesir Chamber of Commerce. The fair aims to support qualified employment by bringing together businesses, job seekers, and students. Additionally, it provides valuable experiences and gains for students in their personal development process.

Inter-University Career Workshops

Within the framework of university alliances, various events are organized with career centers of other universities. Career workshops bring together valuable vice rectors, career center directors, deputy directors, career experts, and officials from chambers of commerce and industry to emphasize the critical role of universities in student career development. Interactive working groups in these workshops aim to evaluate the current activities of career centers, discuss challenges, and develop strategies for the future.
