BANU KAGEM Makes a Meaningful Visit to Çınarlı Neighborhood within the Scope of the D.O.S.T Project

Within the scope of the D.O.S.T (Solidarity, Joint Action, Social Community) Project, implemented in Balıkesir to strengthen the social integration of children and young people and offer them equal opportunities, our Career Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sertaç ERCAN and Lecturer Dr. M. Cem ALDAĞ visited Mr. Özdoğan TIKIZI, the Headman of Çınarlı Neighborhood, and conducted fieldwork.

During the meeting with Mr. Özdoğan Tıkız, a productive exchange of ideas took place regarding activities and cooperation steps to be implemented in areas such as:

Facilitating access to sports and education for children and young people in our neighborhood,

Raising awareness within the scope of combating addiction,

Supporting their cultural, artistic and physical development,

Creating safe and healthy environments where they can express themselves.
The meeting concluded with the goal of planning new projects together with the Headman's Office and other relevant institutions.
