Accounting and Taxation Department Students Met at an Event Titled "The Journey of Accounting from Past to Future"

As part of the Career Days Events for Accounting and Taxation Department students, a talk was held on December 15, 2025, by Certified Public Accountant Musa YAVAŞ and Gönen City Council President Samet ARIKER. The event, attended by first and second-year students of the Accounting and Taxation Department, featured a presentation by Certified Public Accountant Musa YAVAŞ on the history of accounting from the past to the present. Samet ARIKER provided students with information on what to consider in career planning, employer expectations, working conditions, resume preparation, etc. The talk, which was followed with great interest, concluded with a question-and-answer session.

Participants were presented with certificates of appreciation by Assistant Director Lecturer Burcu CAMGÖZ and Prof. Dr. Mustafa YURTTADUR. At the end of the event, a commemorative photograph was taken with the participants, along with department faculty members Prof. Dr. Mustafa YURTTADUR, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nevzat ÇALIŞ, Dr. Lecturer Hatice YALMAN KOŞUNALP, and department students.
